Using Zapier to Connect dotCMS to Your Technology Ecosystem
The Zapier plug-in is available now on all Enterprise plans. Check out our documentation and get started on the integration on the Zapier Marketplace.
Your CMS is a central part of your tech stack, and because of this, there are other systems that you use that you may want to connect to, but you don’t necessarily have the development resources to do so. This is where the dotCMS and Zapier integration comes in!
Zapier is an integration platform that allows you to share data and create workflows between applications without writing a single line of code. With dotCMS, you can move content from outside dotCMS into dotCMS or move content from dotCMS into third-party systems.
Moving data into dotCMS from another application
If you start a new Google doc with content that you want to add to dotCMS, when you place it in a specific folder upon completion, it will automatically be added to dotCMS as a piece of content.
Moving data from another application into dotCMS
If you have a form in dotCMS that is gathering information such as contact details, that form data once submitted, can be automatically added as a contact in Salesforce.
The possibilities are virtually endless and it’s super easy to get started.
Just Launched: Pages & Bookmarks
dotCMS is excited to announce in dotCMS Cloud version 23.06, we have released a new way to manage all of your important dotCMS pages and bookmarks in one easy place!
In the new Pages & Bookmarks layout, we’ve aggregated all of your slug-based and HTML pages all within a single view in dotCMS to make it as simple as possible to find and manage pages within dotCMS.
With the search bar you can easily find all your page-based content, and then bookmark the pages or subsections that you’re in charge of managing, or are most important to you. Bookmarks can be customized based on the channel you prefer also, meaning you can save a bookmark based on whether it’s mobile or desktop, and the language.
