Setting the Initial User Password

The Administrator who creates a user account must set the initial user password when creating the account. To set the initial password, follow steps 3-6, above while creating the user account.

Password Security Requirements

Any time someone attempts to change a password, the new password entered is checked to ensure it meets a number of security requirements. These security requirements may be modified by the system administrator, and will vary from system to system. For more information on configuring password security requirements see the Password Security Configuration documentation.
