DotCMS’s own elite software engineer, Jason Tesser takes Java developers on an exploration of building and implementing custom plugins in dotCMS. You’ll get a look at extending dotCMS with Spring OSGI, actionlets, servlets, view tools and maybe even bundle some assets for deployment on a separate instance - the ultimate portable plugin. Bring your laptop and thinking caps. This session is best for Java developers yet non-developers and manager types will get some first hand insight to what building a plugin with dotCMS looks like. Crazy Contained - Rethinking Templates and Containers in Dotcms 3.0

Everyone knows DotCMS is crazy-flexible as it is. Now, you can do even more with our new Multi-type Containers in version 3.0. Multi-type Containers allow you to pull content from more than one content structure. One structure was good back in the day, but now, the new cool is multi-type containers.
